Abstract
Bank is one of financial institutions compiling funds from citizens in the form of deposit and distribute to them on credit or other banking products in order to develop people’s lives. There are many banking products and one of them which are commonly selected and used is Savings. The objective of the study is to recognize the procedure of opening new account and closing old account of BRI BRITAMA done by Bank BRI in Jemursari branch. Britama is one of BRI products mostly chosen by the customers because there are some special features within Britama and one of the offers is accident insurance. The result of the study shows that there are several problems found in this research such as bank rate competition in Bank BRI. However, the bank has received the best solution that giving interested stimulation to the customers in order to invite people to save money in banks by giving little higher bank rates than any other banks, but it is still in accordance with Bank Indonesia’s policy.
