Abstract
Bank BRI introduced a mobile banking service called BRImo which is expected to make it easier for customers to make banking transactions. The purpose of this study is to find out the promotional strategies used in promoting the mobile banking application, to find out the obstacles that occur during the promotion process, and the solutions implemented. The research method used for this study uses qualitative research methods conducted by observation and interviews with related parties. In the promotion process there are several obstacles, there are the customer's cell phone does not support the BRImo application, there are problems with the internet provider signal on the customer's cellphone. So to overcome these obstacles, the bank seeks appropriate solutions to existing problems such as customers can transact through internet banking services that can be accessed through the ib.bri.co.id website, helping provide tethering to customers who have difficulty getting internet signals. This is done to ensure that during the BRI mobile banking promotion process it continues to run smoothly.
