Abstract
In the Consolidated Financial Statements of PT. PLN (Persero) is not presented with the details of revenue from the sale of electricity (the result of postpaid and prepaid electricity services) so that the percentage of postpaid and prepaid electricity services is not yet known for business income that has increased every year. This has become an obstacle that occurs in almost all units of PT. PLN (Persero) including one of them at PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Rungkut Surabaya. The percentage of the contribution of one of these services is very important for the company where the percentage is known, the company can make it as a consideration in making business policies in the future. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of postpaid and prepaid electricity revenues for the 2016-2017 period. The research method used is descriptive research method, that is by describing the state of the subject or object of research based on the facts that appear. The results of the study show that in the past two years electricity service revenues were dominated by income derived from prepaid electricity services. However, when viewed from the small difference in the value of income both services are likely to occur in the following year postpaid electricity services can replace the position of the largest contribution holder.
