Abstract
Pucang market in jalan Pucang Anom Surabaya, is one of the traditional markets in contention and surrounded by modern markets, due to the large modern market market around pucang then this becomes a challenge for market traders to remain able to sustain their efforts. The goal of this research is to determine the role of funds and loans from the Cooperative banking institutions for business continuity in the merchant market so that the researcher selects some traders to become informants and conduct interviews and direct observation to the informant in order to get the results of the research in accordance with the facts on the ground and the maximum data that could result in the purpose of the present study. The results of this research show the results of interview and observation that the Fund pinjamana that has been on offer as well as a cooperative institution bank not too influential business continuity against traders in the marketplace of Surabaya Pucang Anom.
