Abstract
One of the demands facing the world today is the service industry customer satisfaction is one key to the success of a company in maintaining its presence in the market. Application of Total Quality Management (TQM) is an approach to maximize the competitive of organizations through a focus on customers, continuous improvement of products, services, labor, and environmental processes. This research empirically investigated the influence of TQM on employee performance and reward system as moderating variable. The research was conducted at PT. Serasi Transportasi Nusantara that is in taxi transportation in Surabaya (O-Renz), with respondents 64 employees. Analysis used to answer the hypothesis by simple regression and residual test for moderating variables. The result showed a direct effect of TQM application on employee performance, it’s also showed an effet of interaction between TQM and reward system on employee performance.
