Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills, and digital literacy on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Gresik region. MSMEs play a strategic role in the regional economy; however, they still face various challenges, particularly in financial management, entrepreneurial capability, and the utilization of digital technology. Therefore, it is essential to examine the factors that can enhance MSME business performance.This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to MSME owners in the Gresik area using purposive sampling techniques. The data analysis technique applied was Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEMPLS). The independent variables in this study were financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills, and digital literacy, while the dependent variable was MSME business performance.The results indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on MSME business performance. Entrepreneurial skills also have a positive and significant effect on MSME business performance. Furthermore, digital literacy is proven to have a positive and significant effect on MSME business performance. These findings imply that better financial management understanding, stronger entrepreneurial skills, and optimal utilization of digital technology contribute to improved business performance among MSMEs.This study suggests that enhancing MSME capacity through financial literacy education, entrepreneurial skill development, and digital literacy strengthening is crucial to promoting growth and competitiveness of MSMEs in the Gresik region.
