Abstract
This research purposes to examine the influence of perceived organizational support and self-efficacy on employee engagement through job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The sampling method used was a purposive sampling technique. The respondents of this research were 139 employees of Hospital X Surabaya. The data analysis technique used in this research is SEM PLS. Respondents' responses were analyzed using descriptive analysis using SPSS 26.00 and statistical analysis using WarpPLS 7.0. The results of the analysis from this study show that perceptions of organizational support have a positive effect on job satisfaction, self-efficacy has a positive effect on job satisfaction, perceptions of organizational support have a positive effect on employee engagement, dedication. self-efficacy has a positive effect on employee engagement, job satisfaction has a positive effect on employee engagement, job satisfaction is able to mediate the relationship between perceptions of organizational support and employee engagement, job satisfaction is not able to mediate between self-efficacy and employee engagement
