Abstract
Savings is one of the most widely known and utilized banking fund products by the public. However, in practice there are still a number of people who do not fully understand savings products. The objectives of this study are as follows, namely (1) to find out what are the facilities of Batara Savings at PT Bank Tabungan Negara Kankas Nginden Semolo Surabaya, (2) to find out what are the requirements for opening Batara savings at PT Bank Tabungan Negara Kankas Nginden Semolo Surabaya, ( 3) to find out the obstacles in opening batara savings at PT Bank Tabungan Negara Kankas Nginden Semolo Surabaya, (4) to find solutions to overcome obstacles in opening batara savings at PT Bank Tabungan Negara Kankas Nginden Semolo Surabaya. This study uses a type of descriptive research method. The results of this study indicate that the obstacles in opening Batara savings are that customers do not understand the Batara Savings product itself, customers do not bring or forget to bring their identity, and the current obstacle is the covid-19 pandemic. The solution in overcoming obstacles to opening Batara Savings is to introduce Batara savings products online, opening an account online first in terms of filling in data and then making an initial deposit and creating an account directly at the bank..
