Abstract

Purpose of this study was to determine the effect of perceived usefulness, perceived security on the adoption of mobile banking BNI customers in Surabaya with hedonic motivation mediation. The number of respondents from this study is 130 respondents data analysis techniques used pls (partial least square). The results of the study explain that positive perceptions of usefulness to hedonic motivation, security perception have a positive effect on hedonic motivation, hedonic motivation has a significant effect on adoption mobile banking, perceived usefulness and perceived security have a positive effect on adoption mobile banking. And hedonic motivation can mediate significantly on perceptions of usability, security perception and adoption of mobile banking. The results of this study are expected to make the community more aware of the use of mobile banking because mobile banking is more effective and efficient than going to the bank service office and the public does not need to be afraid to use mobile banking because the personal data of the customer will be maintained by the bank. Keywords: perceived usefulness, perceived security, hedonic motivation and adoption mobile banking.
