Abstract
The rapid development of technology and information has led to increasingly fierce competition in the business world. The business world requires sophisticated information systems to support the company's ability to compete with other companies. This study aims to analyze the effect of age, work experience, level of education, training, and technological sophistication on the effectiveness of using accounting information systems at BNI banks. The population of this study were 50 employees who used accounting information systems at BNI Pekanbaru bank. Statistical tests and data processing were carried out using Partial Least Square (WarpPLS 7.0). The results of this study indicate that work experience and technological sophistication affect the effectiveness of using accounting information systems, while age, education level, and training have no effect on the effectiveness of using accounting information systems.
