Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of payment gateway, financial literacy, motivation and locus of control on the performance of MSMEs in the city of Sidoarjo. The variables studied were the independent variables, namely payment gateway, financial literacy, motivation and locus of control, while the dependent variable was the performance of SMEs. Respondents taken from this study were SMEs in the city of Sidoarjo. The number of samples involved in this study were 104 SMEs in the city of Sidoarjo. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method. The data collection method used a questionnaire, then the answers from the respondents were scored using a Likert scale. Analysis of the data used in this study using SEM-PLS with path coefficient test. The results of this study found that payment gateway, motivation and locus of control had a positive effect on the performance of MSMEs, while financial literacy had a negative effect on the performance of MSMEs.
