Abstract
This study uses the variables of capital structure, profitability, firm size and managerial ownership on firm value. The selection of the five variables because there are differences in previous research or commonly referred to as the research gap. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of capital structure, profitability, firm size and managerial ownership on firm value in food and beverage companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2019 periods. The population in this study used 30 companies in the food and beverage sector, with a total sample of 23 companies. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques in data processing where this technique is used to estimate the value of the dependent variable by using more than one independent variable. The results of the analysis found that (1) capital structure had a significant negative effect on firm value. (2) Profitability has no significant negative effect on firm value. (3) Firm size has a significant positive effect on firm value. (4) Managerial ownership has a significant positive effect on firm value.
