Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of financial literacy, risk attitude, income company competencies on insurance demand with inclination to purchase as mediating variabel. The number of respondent of this study are 242 respondents which have criteria such as minimum age 24 years old and lived in Gresik, Bangkalan, Mojokerto, Surabaya, Sidoarjo, and Lamongan. The technique to analyze the data uses Partial Least Square Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using the WarpPLS 6.0 program. The results of this study explain that financial literacy, risk attitude, and company competence do not have a significant effect on insurance demand, income has a significant positive effect on insurance demand, and inclination to purchase can mediate the effect of company competence toward insurance demand.
