Abstract
Materialisme, motivation are key factors in the family financial behavior. This study examine the impact of materialism and motivation towards family financial management behavior at surabaya. Total respondents are 83 respondents. The objective of research is (1) to analyze the impact of materialism on family financial behavior, (2) to analyze the impact of motivation on family financial behavior. The data collected using survey technique, which is this study the data collected using convenience sampling. The respondents are the families in Surabaya. We measure the families by using questionnaire with a 5 point likert scale and use by software GSCA analysis. The results are materialism variable have no negative impact to the family financial behavior, the main possible causes less respondent data. Although, motivation variable toward significantly on family financial behavior at surabaya. Key Words: Materialism, Motivation, Family Financial Management Behavior.
