Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the causes of decline Retun On Equity Bank Persero. This study aims to determine whether LDR, LAR, NPL, IRR, PDN, BOPO, and FBIR have a significant influence simultaneously and partially to ROE. Data collection method used in this study is secondary data taken from the financial statements of Bank Persero period first quarter 2012 to second quarter 2017. Data analysis techniques in this study is descriptive analysis and use multiple linear regression, F test, and t test. This research does not use sample criterion because using census method, research subject is Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk, Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk, Bank Tabungan Negara Indonesia Tbk, Bank Mandiri Tbk. The results of this study are LDR, LAR, NPL, IRR, PDN, BOPO, and FBIR have a significant influence simultaneously on Return on equity. LDR variable has no significant negative influence, LAR has a significant positive influence, NPL has a no significant positive influence, IRR has a no significant positive influence, PDN has an insignificant negative influence, BOPO has a significant negative influence, and FBIR has a no significant negative influence. Based on the seven variables that have the most dominant influence on ROE is BOPO Keyword: Business Risk and Retun On Equity
