Abstract
This study aimed to determine and analyze the influence of the board of directors, board of commissioners, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and audit committee on financial distress. Financial distress as the dependent variable is measured by comparing the company's profit for 2 years. The independent variables in this study were measured by the number of directors, the number of board of commissioners, managerial ownership and institutional ownership as well as the number of administrative committees. This study uses quantitative methods. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. Based on the purposive sampling method, 650 companies were obtained as research samples. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange for all manufacturing companies in 2013-2017. The data analysis technique used was logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the board of directors and institutional ownership had a significant negative influence on financial distress, while the board of commissioners, managerial ownership, and audit committee did not have a significant influence on financial distress Keywords: financial distress, liquidity, leverage, sales growth, firm size, interest coverage ratio
