Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, investment opportunity set, growth opportunity and size on capital structure company go public of Food and Beverage on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used in this study were 19 Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2014-2018 period. The analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression. The result of this study indicate that te variable profitability has a significant positive effect on capital structure, while the variable for investment opportunity set, growth opportunity and size has a negative and not significant on capital structure. The implication of the study for the company is to put attention to profitability because high profitability will produce an optimal capital structure.
