Abstract

In every Bank need capital, capital is the first function that every Bank must have in order to develop business growth. The Bank requires a minimum capital ratio or is usually called CAR. The definition of CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio) ratio is the capital adequacy ratio that serves to accommodate the risk of losses that the Bank may encounter. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of variables LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, FBIR, and BOPO both simultaneously and partially towards CAR, and which variable contributes predominantly to the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) at the Bank Regional development. The sampling technique used the Purposive Sampling technique. The regional development Bank’s chosen as the sample are PT BPD Jambi, PT BPD Kalimantan Tengah, and PT BPD Sulawesi Selatan and Sulawesi Barat. The data analysis technique used in this study is a multiple linear regression analyses technique consisting of simultaneous testing (F test) and partial test (t Test). The results of this research proved that LDR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, BOPO, FBIR simultaneously have a significant effect on CAR. LDR, and NPL have an insignificant positive influence on the CAR. IPR has a significant negative influence on CAR. APB, IRR, BOPO have an insignificant negative influence on CAR. FBIR has a significant positive influence on CAR. A variable that has the most dominant influence is IPR with the largest contribution of 14.59% against CAR.
