Abstract
CAR is one indicator used to measure the bank capital adequacy. Capital for bank is used to absorb loss emerged from banking activites, and as the basis of some policies releasead by Indonesia Bank. This reseacrh tries to investigate whether the independent variabels of LDR, LAR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, BOPO, FBIR, and ROA both simultaneosly and partially have significant effect on CAR and which variable has the dominant effect on CAR. This research use secondary data taken from financial statements from period I Quartely of until 2013 until II Quartely in 2018 of the Foreign Exchange National Private Bank. The sample consists of PT. QNB Indonesia Bank, Tbk, PT. Nationalnobu Bank, Tbk, and PT. Multiarta Sentosa Bank, Tbk. thr data were processed by using SPSS 16 input results and F-test to see the effect simultaneously as well as t-test to see the effect partially. It shows that LDR, LAR, IPR, NPL, APB, IRR, PDN, BOPO, FBIR, and ROA simultaneosly have significant effect on CAR. Yet, partially, only LDR, and LAR have significant effect on CAR. In addition LDR, and IPR partially has a significant positive effect on CAR. LAR, IRR, PDN, and BOPOpartially has a significant negative effect on CAR. APB, FBIR, and ROA partially has a non-significant positive effect on CAR. NPL has a non-significant negative effect on CAR. The most dominan is LAR that is 57 percents.
