Abstract
Firm value is a condition that the company achieves as an illustration of public trust in the company’s performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of good corporate governance toward firm value. Factor that influence firm value are board of directors, independent board of commissioners, audit committee, institusional ownership and managerial ownership. Firm values was proxied by Tobins’Q. This study used 146 companies as a sample from a population of 188 companies in property & real estate sector companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2017. Analysis tool that have been used was multiple linear regression analysis by using SPSS program. The result showed that corporate governance mechanisms proxied by the board of directors and independent board of commissioners have effect to the firm value, while audit committee, institusional ownership and managerial ownership have not effect to the firm’s value.
