Abstract
Working capital credit is a credit for individual or business entities as additional capital for the development of debtor’s business. The government encourages, supports, and helps UMKM (Micro Small and Medium Enterprises) sector in order that it can support Indonesian economic system. It means that the government wants the Indonesian economy can thrive, especially through UMKM sector. One of the efforts made by government to developing UMKM is provide loans which provided in financial institution in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the system and procedures of working capital loans, and to prevent the occurrence of obstacles that occur in credit process at Bank Rakyat Indonesia mojokerto branch. This research use qualitative method. Focus of this research is procedure of lending, credit installment, and the problems that will occur in working capital credit. Technique of collecting data from this research using interview technique and literature which was obtained from Account Officer dan Supervisor of Operation Section. The results found that method of interest calculation using Flat Rate method. It can burden debtor, because amount of interest must be paid is relatively high. Procedures that have been done was running well. Existance of unclear guarantee so that is can’t covered the loan. Visit to the debtor should be done more frequently. Control on debtors need to be done regularly to find out the problems that will arise. Keyword : Working Capital Credit, UMKM (Micro Small and Medium Enterprise)
