Abstract
Accounting science is developing very rapidly with the establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015 which resulted in many companies that require professional accountants in the future. To exercise a moral responsibility to improve the professionalism of the prospective accountant, accounting student should join an accountant profession organizations as a young member. So it takes motivation and good performance that accounting students interest to participate accountant profession organizations as a young member. This study aims to determine the influence of motivation and performance of interest accounting students to participate accountant prefession organizations as a young member. The sample in this study were students DIII and S1 accounting join Accounting Students Association in STIE Perbanas Surabaya. The number of questionnaires distributed a total 90 and can be processed only 85 questionnaires. The research data analysis techniques using logistic regression with SPSS 16.0 for Windows.This result showed that the quality motivation and performance does not have an influence on interest accounting students to participate accountant prefession organizations as a young member. While career motivation have an influence on interest accounting students to participate accountant prefession organizations as a young member.
