Abstract
Land and Building Tax is one of the local taxes that are the source of revenue in supporting the increase of the local own-source revenue of Mojokerto. Mojokerto municipal government started the implementation of PBB on January 1, 2013. The purpose of this research is to determine of the level of effectiveness and contribution of PBB to local own-source revenue (PAD) of Mojokerto. This research type is quantitative descriptive research, that is used explanation based on numbers. This research data in the form of target and realization of revenue of PBB and PAD of Mojokerto for 4 years, from year 2013-2016. The results showed that the level of PBB effectiveness in the category of Highly Effective, for the contribution of PBB to local own-source revenue (PAD) in the category of Very Less. Overall of PBB has met accordance with the achievement of revenue targets but not optimal yet in increasing the contribution of local own-source revenue (PAD) Mojokerto city. keywords : Effectiveness, Contributions, Land and building tax, and Local ownsource revenue (PAD)
