Abstract
This study extends the study by understanding the indirect relationship between these three elements of working capital and firm value through profitability. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of cash turnover, receivable turnover and inventory turnover on profitability and the value of the company through the role of mediation is the profitability of the company. This research uses purposive sampling as sampling technique. Based on the criteria used, the sample received 81 manufacturing companies of the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2014-2016. Analytical techniques used are regression analysis and path analysis with cash turnover, account receivable and inventory as independent variables, profitability as a mediation variable and firm value as a dependent variable. This research shows that partially cash turnover and receivable turnover have no significant positive effect on profitability, but inventory turnover has a significant positive effect. Furthermore, the partial cash turnover has no significant positive effect on firm value, but receivable turnover and inventory turnover have a significant positive effect on firm value.
