Abstract
The purpose of this study are to determine the effect of materialism, future orientation, and the income to the retirement fund planning with data analysis techniques which used are MRA and Anova test. Respondents who become the sample amounted to 300 people with the criteria of respondents domiciled in the region of Surabaya, has a minimum income for about Rp. 4.000.000 in a month, has a minimum working experience for 2 years and become a family financial manager. Based on the results of this study, materialism has a negative effect but not significant to the retirement fund planning. Future orientation has a significant positive effect to the retirement fund planning. An income has a positive effect but not significant to the retirement fund planning. It’s expected that individual who become the family financial manager need to have a better future knowledge so that individual can have a good looking for the future so the individual can do the retirement fund planning better.
