Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the influence of financial literacy, life style, and selfcontrol on the behavior of workers in Surabaya management either partially or simultaneously. Based on the objectives, this research is applied research to solve problems due to personal financial management. The type of data obtained directly from respondents or the primary data, and the methods of research used survey method by distributing questionnaires. Based on the time dimension, this study include cross-sectional because data will be obtained from questionnaires within a certain period of time with a particular sample. The population in this study are the people who live in the city of Surabaya. As for the sampling technique used purposivesampling,because it aims to take samples of the population based on the specific sample characteristics include workers who have an income of at least Rp. 3,500,000 per month, have at least 3 years of work experience, as well as between the ages of 21 to 55 years. In addition, this study using multiple regression analysis (MRA), in order to determine the effect of the significance of some of the variables that affect the dependent variable. The results showed that partially self-control lifestyle and positive influence on the behavior of the financial management of workers in Surabaya, while financial literacy is partially no positive effect on the behavior of the financial management of workers in Surabaya. Likewise, simultaneous financial literacy, life style, and self-control significantly influence the behavior of the financial management of workers in Surabaya.
