Abstract
The research objectives to be achieved in this study was to investigate students' perceptions of the attributes in Professional skills in accounting graduates Perbanas Surabaya. By grouping students taking correspondence thesis and students who do not take skripsi. Students’ who is doing his thesis have completed the course as much as 144 credits (with thesis) courses covering ethics and Personality Development, Computer Applications in Business, Accounting Information Systems, Practice accounting, Management Accounting, Behavioral accounting, Business Ethics and Professional Accounting and others. Where subjects are included attributes such as skills using information technology skills, skills to be professional, self-motivated skills, problem solving skills, skills of bookkeeping and so forth. The test results yield a significance value of 0.055> 0.05, so the hypothesis of the study was rejected. It shows that there is no difference in the perception of students taking the thesis and thesis students who do not take the attributes of professional skills in accounting graduates Perbanas Surabaya.
