Abstract
Information about earnings have very important role for persisten who have interested in a company. Is there any earnings persistence effect toward performance of indonesian bank listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) with company’s size as control variable. This research purpose to measure earnings persistence in perfomance of indonesian bank listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) period 2007 – 2010. Bank’s financial performance is measured in 7 indikators, CBTD, LTD, ETA, OPM, NPM, ROE, and ROI as dependent variabels and earnings persistence as control variable. Earnings persistance is insured with the coefficien EPSt-1 toward EPS. Variables by using bank size as control variable. The result of this model from regression linier indicating that earnings persistence influencing performance of indonesian bank listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) with tcalculation signification with x=5%. Hyphotesis testing use multiple regression analysis total asset is a control variabel in the effect of earning persistance toward financial performance the result are only LTD and ROE that are not effected Keyword : Earnings persistence, performance financial
