Abstract
This study aimed to examine the usefulness of financial performance and interest rate sensitivity to predict financial distress on manufacturing companies in the Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2011 - 2015. The financial performance variables is proxied by Current Ratio (CR), Return On Asset (ROA), De bt to Asset (DAR), sales growth and interest rate sensitivity as independent variables. The population were all the manufacturing companies that listed on IDX. The samples used were as many as 121 observations selected using purpossive sampling method. The analysis technique used is logistic regression. The result showed that simultaneous CR, DAR, ROA, sales growth and interest rate sensitivity are able to affect the financial distress. Patially, CR, ROA abd DAR, sales growth and interest rate have a signif icant effect on financial distress.
