Abstract
Life insurance is one of the risk management form that many people did. There were many factors that influence someone’s decision to have life insurance. The aim of this study is to determine the influence of demographic factors such as gender, education level, income and also risk perception towards the life insurance decisions. The sample used in this study were 92 samples with some criteria such us Gerbangkertosusila citizens, use life insurance, and have minimum personal income four million rupiah per month. The sampling methods used were purposive and convenience sampling. The analysis technique used were compare means t - test, ANOVA, and SEM - PLS. The results of this research showed that there were no different on life insurance decision based on demograpghic factors, while risk perception has significant effect on life insurance decisions.
