Abstract

The purpose of this study are to determine the effect of Total Quality Management on the quality culture of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and also this study aims to determine the effect of Total Quality Management on the financial performance of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Components of Total Quality Management are used as independent variables in this study are the employee involvement, customer focus, fact-based management, process monitoring and control, and the effectiveness of the quality incentive. This study also uses quality culture and financial performance as dependent variables. This study uses convinience sampling technique and used 63 responden. Responden are used the owner of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises in Surabaya. The regression analysis method uses a multiple linear regression analysis. There is effect of process monitoring and control, and the effectiveness of the quality incentive on quality culture. While the employee involvement, customer focus, and fact-based management has no effect on quality culture. This study also shows that there is a effect of employee involvement and customer focus on financial performance. While fact-based management, process monitoring and control, and the effectiveness of the quality incentive has no effect on financial performance.
