Abstract
Analysis of the company's financial statements basically caused by their wish to find out the level of profitability and the risk level of the company. The greater the profitability means the better, because the prosperity of the owner of the company increased profitability grow. Profitability ratio consists of Profit Margin, Basic Earning Power, Return on Assets and Return on Equity. With analysis and comparison of the performance of the profitability of the company went public, to provide added value as well as consideration for the coming period for the company. Based on the above analysis the authors are interested in preparing a thesis titled "Comparative Analysis of Financial Performance of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk and PT Mayora Indah Tbk PT period 2010-2014". Use of research methods is secondary data and documentation. After analyzing the ratio of profitability of the financial statements of both companies PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk and PT Mayora Indah Tbk, the researchers draw conclusions based on the discussions that have been conducted as follows: Results of return Asset (Return On Asset) were obtained from the two companies PT Indofood Sukses Makmur PT Mayora Indah Tbk, which is better than the return on assets made at PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk because the company profits from the increased so that the profits can be in the company also experienced an increase. The return Equity (Return On Equity) at PT Indofood Sukses Makmur very well due to the net income obtained from the sale of products is increasing every year so that the return on equity in the company PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk has increased and in accordance with the expected results.
