Abstract
Bank is a business entity that collecting funds from the public in the form of savings and distributes it to the public in the form of loans and others to improve the lives of many people. Bank acts as a financial intermediary between parties who have excess funds for those in the need of funds. Forms of credit offered by the government banks, to ease the burden of society, especially civil servants to increase business capital, and can help the business continuity. This factor can affect the public, especially civil servants to apply for employment credit (multipurpose) through banks. With the aim of knowing more about the procedure of multipurpose credit for civil servant, such as the definition of multipurpose loans, the terms and conditions that must be met in the opening of this credit, procedures or flow in this credit approval, the procedures used in the installment of this credit, the benefit of the customers and the bank in lending of this credit, and the other parties who involved in this multipurpose credit for civil servant. In this Working Paper who conducted on Pembangunan Daerah Bank in East Java at Waru Subsidiary Branch. From this research, can be concluded that the procedure of loan installment is calculated with the annuity interest each month, which is 80% multiplied by the employee's salary. The obstacles faced in lending this multipurpose credit aren’t included in the accounts of Jatim Bank, and the salary is have to be known whether already being logged in or not, and in cooperation with the treasurer of the local office so it is easy to cut the salary of the employee.
