Abstract
This study examined the company's financial performance before and after the Initial Public Offering(IPO). The study population was all public companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample drawn using the method of purposive sampling. The data were collected from company financial statement 2005-2012 which two years before and after the IPO and excluded 2008-2010 as the year of IPO. To evaluate the performance of enterprise, researcher required some indicators to analyse data such as profitability ratio, likuidity ratio, and solvability ratio. The statistic instrument used in this study is Wilcoxon’s Signed Rank Test. Based on the analysis of the ratio used as an indicator to test the company's financial performance that can be said there are differences between the company's financial performance before and after the Initial Public Offering (IPO) as measured by debt to assets ratio, debt to equity ratio, gross profit margin and net profit margin. however, there is no difference between the company's financial performance before and after the Initial Public Offering (IPO) as measured by the current ratio, quick ratio, cash ratio, operating profit margin, return on assets, return on equity.
