Abstract
This study aimed to determine the effect of meeting of the board of commissioner, manajerial ownership, institutional ownership on agency cost. The data used is secondary data derived from the financial statements of trading companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2014. In this study the mechanism of corporate governance is meeting of the board of commissioner, institusional ownership, and manajerial ownership. Agency cost measured the ratio of operating cost and asset turnover ratio. The data were analyzed with multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the number of board meetings have significant effect to the agency cost that is proxied as the ratio of operating cost. Managerial ownership have significant effect to the agency cost by operating expense ratio and turnover ratio. Whereas institutional ownership that there was no signifikan effect on operating expense ratio and turnover ratio.
