Abstract
This research aims to examine the effect of theasset’s structure, profitability, companysize, and growth toward the company’s capital structure.Research population is company of food and beverage sector andthe listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2007-2011. The selection of thesample used purposive sampling method. The result of significanty partial test (t test)of value of assets structure is 0,456, profitability variabel is 0,074, value of firm size is 0,009 ,and value of growth is 0,277. So, the conclusion is only firm size effect on capital structure, because the significanty value of assetsstructure and sales growth is smaller than probability value, there is 5% or 0,05.While, the assets structure , profitability , andsales growth is not effect on capital structure. Because thesignificanty value of assets structure , profitability , and growth is bigger than probability value,there is 5% or 0,05. Keyword :asset structure, profitability, size, the company’s growth and capital structure.
