Abstract
Capital market in Indonesia is a potential market (emerging market) that is highly susceptible to the development of macro-economic conditions in general. This condition is influenced by inflation, exchange rates and interest rates. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of macro-economic indicators, inflation rates, exchange rates, interest rates on stock prices of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2009-2011. The method used in this study is the use of multiple linear regression, normality test, the coefficient of determination, F test, t test. The data used in this study is a secondary data including the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the Central Bureau of Statistics, Monthly Report of Bank Indonesia. Samples were taken by purposive sampling. The results showed that the inflation variable had no significant effect on stock prices and exchange rates partially not significantly affect stock prices partially, while the interest rate a significant negative effect on stock prices partially.
