Abstract
The Staff SISFO Website of Universitas Hayam Wuruk Perbanas is an academic information system used by lecturers and administrative staff to support academic and administrative activities. Based on interviews and observations, the system has functioned properly; however, several User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) aspects still require improvement, including complex navigation, unstructured information presentation, crowded page layouts, and inconsistent visual design. This study aims to analyze the UI/UX issues and redesign the Staff SISFO Website interface using the Design Thinking method through the stages of Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Testing. Data were collected through interviews with three respondents, and the findings were used to develop user personas, user journey maps, use case diagrams, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes. The redesigned interface was evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS), resulting in an average score of 76.67, which falls into Grade C with a Good category, indicating that the proposed interface has good usability and is capable of improving visual quality, design consistency, and navigation efficiency while maintaining the existing workflow familiar to users.
