Abstract

This study addresses the issue of low innovative work behavior among employees in increasingly competitive organizational environments. The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of servant leadership on innovative work behavior, with organizational trust as a mediating variable. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method, where data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to employees. The data were analyzed using statistical techniques to test the proposed hypotheses and evaluate the mediating role of organizational trust. The results indicate that servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior. Furthermore, servant leadership significantly influences organizational trust, which also has a positive effect on innovative work behavior. In addition, organizational trust is found to mediate the relationship between servant leadership and innovative work behavior. These findings imply that organizations need to strengthen leadership practices that prioritize employee development and build trust to enhance innovative behavior in the workplace.
