Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of Role Stress, Job Burnout, and the moderating role of Career Calling on the Job Performance of Private Employees in Surabaya. The sample consists of 100 respondents using the Slovin formula and has the characteristics of a vulnerable age of 18-60 years and has at least one year of service. This sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Analysis using Structural Equating Modeling (SEM) on Partial Least Square (PLS) and data collection using a hardcopy questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that Role Stress has a significant negative effect on Job Burnout, Job Burnout has a non-significant negative effect on Job Performance, Role Stress has an insignificant negative effect on Job Performance, Career Calling does not significantly moderate the effect of Role Stress on Job Burnout, Career Calling as a whole not significantly moderate the effect of Role Stress on Job Performance.
