Abstract
Technology development can affect the way a person invests. Currently, investment can done easily, as there are various choices of applications for investing. A lot investment fraud news does not reduce public enthusiasm. Instead, public enthusiasm for investing is increased, because, according to PT. Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia, the number of registered investors is increasing. This study examines the effect of investment knowledge, risk perception, technology-supported development, and minimum investment capital policy on investment interest in the capital market, with religiosity as a moderating variable. This research applies a quantitative method using primary data collected through online questionnaires using Google Forms. The population is students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at State University and Private University in Surabaya, who have an Investment Gallery. The sampling method used is snowball sampling, and the number of samples is 129 students. The data was analyzed using PLS-SEM with Warp PLS 8.0 software. The findings indicates that investment knowledge does not have a significant effect on investment interest in the capital market, risk perception does not have significant effect on investment interest in the capital market, technology-supported development has a significant positive effect on investment interest in the capital market, the minimum investment capital policy has a significant positive effect investment interest in the capital market, and religiosity does not moderate investment knowledge on investment interest in the capital market.
