Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of dividend policy, asset structure, firm size, and liquidity on capital structure. In this study, dividend policy is measured by the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Asset structure is measured by the value of fixed assets divided by total assets. Company size is measured by Ln of turnover. Liquidity is measured by the Current Ratio (CR). Capital structure is measured by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). This study used 18 companies with a population of consumer goods industry companies in the food and beverage sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2017-2021 period, with a total sample of 90 annual report data. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis method. The research results show that dividend policy and asset structure have no effect on capital structure. Conversely, company size and liquidity affect the capital structure.
