Abstract
Social media has transformed into a social commerce and therefore, a greater understanding of social commerce is crucial. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional support and information on trust in social media social and commerce intention. The method used in this research is quantitative. Data collection was carried out online by distributing questionnaires via google form with a total of 242 respondents, then analyzing the data obtained using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis with SmartPLS version 3.0 software. This study found both informational and emotional support significantly influence trust in social media. Furthermore, this study found emotional support, but not informational support, significantly influences social commerce intention. This study did not find support that trust in social media significantly influences social commerce intention.
