Abstract
The insurance company is an institution that guarantees incidents that are uncertain and unwanted. Now, Insurance companies are not only selling conventional products but selling sharia products which are course by Islamic law. This study aims to determine the role of marketing agents in increasing understanding and marketing of sharia insurance products at PT Jasaraharja Putera, Sidoarjo Marketing Office. The object of this research is the marketing agent of PT Jasaraharja Putera Sidoarjo Marketing Officer, along with the head of marketing and customers of Jas araharja Putera's products. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with case study analysis techniques in the form of collected data and will be described with a systematic description to determine the role of marketing agents in increasing understanding and marketing of sharia insurance products at PT Jasaraharja Putera Marketing Office Sidoarjo. The selection of source persons uses the purposive method that the resource persons are selected based on their ability to fulfill the required data. The results of this study indicate that the role of marketing agents in providing an understanding of marketed products is good. However, the role of marketing agents in increasing the marketing of sharia products is still less than the maximum compared to the conventional product.
