Abstract

Public awareness about the safety of cosmetic products used has increased in line with the emergence of various cases of the impact of using hazardous substances in cosmetics openly. Halal cosmetics are the answer for Muslims who want to look beautiful but do not violate religious teachings. The purpose of this study is to find out the trust and expertise of beauty vloggers have an effect on the purchase intention of Safi skin care products labeled halal. The subjects of this research are women who live in the areas of Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Gresik. This study uses a data collection method through a questionnaire with a purposive sampling technique. In this study, 105 respondents were used. The results of this study explain that the variables of trust, and beauty vlogger expertise, both partially and simultaneously have an effect on the purchase intention of customers of Safi skin care products labeled halal. Partially the skill variable is the dominant variable in influencing consumers to intend to buy Safi skin care products with the halal label.
