Abstract

This final project has a title "Mechanism of Recruitment of Employees at BRI Syariah Branch Office Sidoarjo Ahmad Yani". Problems encountered during the recruitment and selection process is one of the candidates who are not in accordance with expected by the bank. The purpose of this study is to describe the process of recruitment and selection of employees at BRI Syariah KC Sidoarjo Ahmad Yani. BRI Syariah is one of the Bank Syariah in Sidoarjo. This final project is prepared by doing literature studies on books relevant to the topic, information from the internet, Interview directly to one of the bank employees. Based on the research results can be concluded that the process of recruitment and selection of employees from internal sources and the process of recruitment and selection of employees from external sources. In the implementation of recruitment and selection of employees there are still some obstacles or obstacles, namely many applicants who do not fit with the expectations of the bank, and prospective employees who are already in the final test phase, and will carry out the contract signature was not present. When will sign the contract prospective employee hard to be contacted. To overcome barriers that occur during the recruitment and selection process, the bank should improve the employee recruitment and selection mechanism, find the right person through coworkers and request the original file of the applicant not to cancel the employment contract.
