Abstract
One of the business developments that can support national progress is banking industry.Bank is a financial institution whose main activities are to collect funds from the public, distribute them back to the public and provide other banking services. In Indonesia, there are two types of banks which are distinguished based on their operational activities, namely conventional banks and Islamic banks. Both of them have differences in pricing system, either for sale or purchase pricing. In a conventional bank, the pricing is always based on the interest rates while in Islamic bank uses the cooperation in profit-sharing scheme based on the Islamic concept either will profit or loss. This study was conducted in Branch Office of PT BNI Syariah Bank Mojokerto. It used interview method, secondary data utilization, and literature review method that focused on one of their products namely IB Baitullah Hasanah hajj savings. The analysis started from the procedure of opening an account, depositing hajj savings, obtaining hajj portion, calculating profit sharing by 1%, doing repayment, until closing the account of hajj savings, and finally it discussed about the obstacles and alternatives occurred during the implementation of hajj savings. Based on the result, this study was expected to provide insight and knowledge, to attract all bank customers to save their money and to make them easily understood the hajj savings procedure especially in Branch Office of PT BNI Syariah Bank Mojokerto.
