Abstract
Every company generally aims to get the maximum profit. PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Plc and PT Indosat, Plc is a company engaged in telecommunication services. The strategy used in both companies in marketing their products using advertising media. The purpose of using advertising media to introduce products to the public so that the revenue achieved in accordance with the target. The use of marketing through advertising costs a lot. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between advertising costs with revenue received. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive metide using financial report data 2011-2015 at company PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Plc and PT. Indosat, Plc. The results of this study indicate that advertising costs and revenue for 5 years in a row experienced an increase and decrease. The amount of advertising costs incurred in spite of both decreases and increases does not affect the revenue received by the company. Keywords :advertising expenses, income
