Abstract
One of important decisions faced by financial managers in relation with the existence of the company operation is the funding or capital structure decision. Managers have to be able to collect the fund both from the company and out of the company efficiently. It means that the funding decision is a decision that is able to minimize capital expenses that has to be carried by the company. This study aimed to examine the effect of profitability, asset structure, and firm size to capital structure of go public property and real estate company in indonesia stock exchange. The sample in study are 41property and real estate companies listed in Indonesia stock exchange 2012-2016 period.The study used purposive sampling method in determining the sample and multiple liniear regression analysis to examine the effect of independen variabels on the dependent variable. The result of this study indicate that profitability are measured by Return OnEquity and firm size as measured by ln(asset) significant positive effect to the capital structure.Asset structure as measured by fixed asset divided by total assets insignificant negative effect to the capital structure.
