Abstract
debt behavior not only owned by the middle to bottom class to meet basic needs, but also owned by the upper middle class no matter how high or low their income. debt behavior has on option individuals in resolving issues fulfillment. every people nowday had a debt, they must wisely to decide to increase their debt if they dont maneged wisely it can be serious finance problem such as indebtness. there are so many thing that can effect to debt management behavior such as attitude toward money, lifestyle, income, etc. this research aims to know the effects of attitude toward moeny and lifestyle on debt manaegement behavior with income as moderating variable. this reaserch used survey method by diturbing the questionnaires to 240 respondents who had a debt in surabaya. sampling by purposive sampling. using multiple regression analysis (mra) in spss, the result show that attitude toward money isn’t significantly but lifesyle significantly impact to debt management behavior. in other side income cannot moderate both of attitude toward money and lifestyle on debt management behavior.
